The morning of this year’s Kahtoola Uphill started out windy, gray, and overcast—not ideal conditions for the day of a mountain race. But, by race start, the uphill gods swung things in our favor. The skies cleared and everything settled into place just in time for the 12th annual GORE-TEX Kahtoola Uphill.

From the get-go, this year’s energy was off the charts. The race sold out, conditions were excellent, the golden hour was magic, and the after-party dance-off may never be topped (we thought the stage was going to collapse). As always, the race supports a great local cause in Friends of Camp Colton, with 100% of funds raised from the race going directly to improving youth outdoor education at Camp Colton. In the end, we pulled in $42,652!

Big thanks to GORE-TEX, all of our great sponsors, K2 Adventures Foundation for their generous on-site matching grant, racers, volunteers, and everyone else who helped us put on our BEST Kahtoola Uphill to date!

Until next year, enjoy these great shots from this year’s race. All photos are available at KahtoolaUphill.com
